Spirit Mountain Summer Adventure Park {GIVEAWAY}

I’m partnering with Spirit Mountain this week to not only share a little bit about their amazing Adventure Park there, but also to give away passes to check it out yourself! We’ll be visiting there in a couple weeks to see it for ourselves thanks to Spirit Mountain, but in the meantime, I’m excited to share everything it has to offer!

So first off, if you aren’t familiar with Spirit Mountain, it’s located right in Duluth, MN which is just over 2 hours north of the Twin Cities. It’s an amazing place to not only visit in the winter, but also in the summer!

Spirit Mountain Adventure Park

They have loads of things to do at Spirit Mountain Adventure Park in the summer. Take a look.

ALPINE COASTER

When my husband and I visited there a few years ago (before my daughter was born), we tried the Timber Twister (their alpine coaster) and they are a blast! It’s a 3,200 foot track, kind of like a natural roller coaster. It twists and turns through the forest and if you want, you can even reach speeds up to 26 mph (keyword: if you want) but the speed is completely in your hands. For ages 3 and up!

ZIP LINE

Who can say no to a zip line? Their Timber Flyer gives you a thrill ride on their 700 foot line! The whole ride lasts about 90 seconds and you can ride single or double. Plus, since this zip line offers a bench seat with safety belts, it accommodates riders ages 3 and up!

SCENIC CHAIRLIFT RIDES

Seen in my previous winter skiing post, the Spirit Express II also doubles as a summer attraction. Hop on and see the sights (check out the gorgeous Duluth skyline, plus the St. Louis River and Lake Superior!) And this is fun for the whole family too, for ages 3 and up.

MINI GOLF

If heights aren’t quite everyone’s thing in your group, you have plenty you can do on the ground as well starting with mini golf! They have a 9-hole course that is suitable for the whole family.

DISC GOLF

While you’re on the golf kick, check out their 18-hole disc golf course as well! A mixture of frisbee and golf, you toss frisbees until you get them into the basket. Count your ‘strokes’ and the golfer with the lowest score is the winner! Although this is included in the Adventure Park wristbands, you can also play a game on your day off for only $5 a person.

JUMPING PILLOW

Not just for toddlers, but big kids as well, everyone loves a fun jumping pillow! Burn off some energy and get some good exercise jumping on this inflatable attraction.

With all the fun attractions at Spirit Mountain this summer, it’s easy to see why Outside magazine voted Duluth the “Best Outdoor City in America”! I personally think it’s great because it’s somewhere we can bring our 3-year-old and she can participate in all the activities. It’s great fun for the whole family, no matter what ages and interests!

MOUNTAIN BIKING

Want to get a little more thrill? Rent a mountain bike and check out their mountain bike trails. These trails have received national accolades and the scenic views of Lake Superior (along with the St. Louis River) are breath-taking. You can find rates and information on their website!

FALL FUN – NEVER TOO LATE

In case you also wanted to enjoy these activities in the fall, you’re not too late! The park is still open daily (except for Tuesdays) through September 3. Then, starting September 4, Adventure Park is open weekends until October 14. Side note: MEA weekend they are open October 12-14. Lots of time still to go check it out and enjoy the fall colors!
