Tonight I had the best luck that I’ve had in a long time at Goodwill! I couldn’t believe the deals that were in store for me when I walked in.
First off, I’ve been dying to find a vintage record player that could fit in as a nice antique piece in our home. And what did I see when I first walked in? Just that! The silent auction is offering a gorgeous piece that would be absolutely perfect! The auction ends Sunday, so we’ll find out then! My fingers are crossed, I’m so excited, that was just too perfect of timing.
The next thing I found was in the clothes section. And when I say ‘thing’ I should probably say ‘things’. I had never looked in the clothes section at Goodwill until Macy told me about some of good finds that she came across. What I ended up finding was…. A horizontal striped long, blue button up shirt from JCrew, one horizontal striped, long pink button up shirt from Gap, a brand new summer/spring coat by Danskin, and a cute peach/orange top from BCBG. They were all way cute!I also happened to pick up a couple books to read, while I have this horrid sinus infection deal . I found some cork boards that are square, my plan is to create a fun little pattern of cork boards in my office. Functional yet cute! I love it 🙂
One of my favorite finds however, were these 3M sticky velco hanging tag things. These are my absolute new favorites. You just stick them on the wall where you want them, and then stick the other end on your pictures. It’s like an industrial strength velco pattern though, because it holds up virtually anything! I put a heavy picture up in my office that I thought would never stay up. It’s craziness, but I love it! And they just so happened to have like 4 more new packages of them, so of course I had to get them. They are a saving grace, and sooooo easy to use! Highly recommended, by muah! Here are some pics of my stash!!
Next up, DH wanted me to keep my eyes open for a ShopVac, and I just so happened to stumble across one for $9.99 there and he loved it. Score points for the amazing wife!
That’s it for today. Until next time!Hearts,
Sarah
