For my birthday a year ago, my parents got me this amazing coffee pot. At the time, I was still living at home so I never got a chance to open and use it until we bought our house last winter. I can’t say enough good things about this coffee pot though, because it has absolutely impressed me.
For starters, as you can see in the picture, the coffee pot gives you the option to brew a pot or brew enough for the two to-go cups (all are provided). This is so nice because you don’t have to deal with the whole pouring and rushing and taking time to get it all ready. It goes straight into the cup and you’re ready to go!
Next thing that I love about this thing is that you can program the coffee pot to brew at a certain time. My husband is the king of this, he’ll set the program to brew just in time for him to grab a cup in the morning and walk out the door without ever coming downstairs to turn it on, scoop the coffee, etc. He loves it.
The inside of the coffee maker (where you put the water) is labeled to show you how many cups you are making. So if you only want to make four cups, you fill the sucker up to the big ‘4’ and you’ll have four cups. Love it!!
Last, but not least, I am very happy with the pot and the cups. These things keep the coffee hot for what seems like ever! I can’t believe it when I pour a cup of coffee two to three hours later and the coffee is still hot! I love not having to microwave my coffee as soon as I pour it out of the pot! That’s just a pain in the butt.
So take it from me. If you’re looking to buy a coffee pot and you’re not sure what to get. This Hamilton Beach Stay or Go is phenomenal and we could not be more happy with it!
One con: Don’t run milk through there. The hubs decided to do that in a moment of old age accidentalism, and we didn’t have coffee for weeks (torture!). Tip: if this happens to you, run vinegar through it. I had no idea until my dad told me about this, but it really did work! It somehow broke up whatever deposits the milk had clogged the coffeemaker with and cleaned it right out. Who knew!
Until next time!
Hearts,
Sarah
