Today, I’m keeping on the topic of Mother’s Day but this time with more unique and personalized gift ideas in mind. In case you didn’t catch my previous post with 20 gifts under $30, you can still check that out for some ultra-affordable gift ideas as well. But today is all about those gifts that you probably haven’t heard of or seen yet, which I think are some of the best ones!
I also asked fellow moms on my Facebook page what they would like for Mother’s Day this year (you can see that post here) Their responses cracked me up, and at the same time gave some really insightful ideas as well. Definitely check it out if you haven’t seen that yet as well.
Alright, let’s get into these Mother’s Day gift ideas! You ready? Saddle up.
1. Peace Love Wine Vacation Sweatshirt
I’m in love with this sweatshirt. It’s sooo soft and fuzzy on the inside and of course the message on it couldn’t be more spot on. lol I was told to size up and so I got a Medium and it fits perfectly. You can find this sweatshirt (and lots of other designs) from Pinkly Perfect. I love this one because it’ll be perfect for these upcoming summer nights around the campfire. I can’t wait!
Retail: $48.00
2. Precious Metal Prints Pendant
I can’t wait until the finish product arrives, but in the meantime this neat concept is so perfect for moms. So you order the kit online from Precious Metal Prints, and they send you out a little ball of clay with instructions. You make a little fingerprint of your child’s fingers and let it dry overnight, then send it back to the company where they make a pendant out of the fingerprint and add your child’s initials to the other side. Add your own chain and you have a necklace any mom would be proud to wear!
Retail: $79.99 – 109.99
3. Fitbit Versa
The latest in Fitbit technology, the new Fitbit Versa is incredibly comparable to the Apple Watch, except much cheaper. It’s a smart water along with a fitness tracker, so you are able to not only track your steps, calories and heart rate but also get notifications, check messages, access apps and more. They also praise it for being able to run 4+ days without needing to be charged.
Retail: $199.99
4. Dat Mat Yoga Mat
As an avid yogi and pilates instructor, I am incredibly picky when it comes to my mats. I need the extra padding on my yoga mats, and I also require high quality because I don’t want to be buying a new mat every year. That being said, I love my donut yoga mat from Dat Mat, they have some really cute patterns and the material is super thick and soft/spongey. It’s been a perfect addition to my workouts!
Retail: $39.99-49.99
5. Ring Doorbell
I will vouch for technology anyday because it always makes my life so much easier. The ring doorbell is a neat piece of technology because it doubles as a doorbell and a camera. You can see, hear and speak to anyone who shows up at your door via your phone or tablet. It has a motion sensor and alerts you if there is any movement in front of your door – you’ll get alerted. This works really well if packages are delivered, they won’t sick on your front step unattended.
Retail: $99.99
I hope these neat gift ideas spark some ideas of your own! Happy Mother’s Day!
