As you know, I like to do my product round-ups every season because so much can change from season to season and so many things come out in between time! This Fall Product Roundup features some new items to keep your eyes out for, along with some items that I’ve discovered that I can’t wait to share with you. So if you’re ready, let’s get this party started!
…………….
Active Edge – So I love anything comfortable, so it wasn’t any surprise that I had to test out the Active Edge Sleep Shirt. My first thought was that it was super lightweight and comfortable, my second thought was how do they manage to put something into the shirt! Well they’ve figured out how to use their ‘proprietary technology’ to help fight pain or inflammation, improve sleep and to help your body perform better. They actually figured out a way to put electromagnetic frequencies into your t-shirt… So far it’s been hard to tell what type of difference it’s made for my sleep (since little miss STILL gets up so much during the night) but I really love the material and it’s got to be one of my most comfortable shirts, so even that is worth it to me! 🙂 These shirts are unisex, and can be found in a t-shirt or a tank. (Thank you Active Edge for letting me test this out!) Retail: $64.99

Crenova Video Projector – For my birthday this year, my hubby got me a video projector. I guess he was tired of hearing me say that I wanted to take the family to an outdoor movie, so he brought the movie to us! This has been so much fun for us, we held a little movie night out on the deck in August, and then an indoor movie party in September, it’s been really neat and you can make the screen as big as you want it! I’m currently thrifting for a second DVD player to use just for the projector so that we don’t have to keep moving our current one back and forth. Retail: $89.98

CleanSmart – I anticipated that I could get this post done before having to worry about little miss being sick from something going around, but alas, I didn’t make it. It seems every fall, as soon as school starts, viruses start going around. Whether you have kids in school or not, it seems it’ll find you anyways. CleanSmart has some awesome cleaning products made especially for little ones – they don’t use harmful chemicals on the products that we use to clean what babies use most! They make a nursery and high chair cleaner (which also works on breast pump parts, FYI), a pacifier sanitizer (because we’ve all been there, haven’t we?) and a toy disinfectant spray! I always find myself wiping down toys especially if we have play dates, and it makes me feel better to know that I’m using a gentle (but strong) cleaner to kill the germs/bacteria/viruses right away. Bonus: They’re out of Edina, MN! (Thank you CleanSmart so much for letting us test this out!) Find CleanSmart on Amazon and at Babies R Us. Retail: $10.49-$11.99

Happi Tummi – I know I’ve written about this one before but I feel it is worth another mention because it has really been amazing. It’s basically a little heating pad that wraps around your little one when their tummy is upset or they’re not feeling well. You heat the little inside pack in the microwave (for a super short time), then pop it into the cozy belt and you’re ready to go. We have used this countless times and it seems to really comfort her every single time! I will definitely keep buying these (even though the one we have has lasted us over a year now) as they’re worth every little penny. Retail: $23.99

Before You Sleep (Benji Bennett) – I have to say I fell in love with this book as soon as I held it in my hands, I was sent a copy to review and we had to read it right away of course! It has such a powerful story behind it as well that makes me teary every time I think about it. The book was inspired by the sudden loss of his four-year-old son (Adam) who had an undetected brain tumor. The message behind the story is simple, “If Adams death means that every child gets an extra 10 minutes of play time and are told they are loved every day, well then that’s OK.” That’s the part that gets me teary. And that’s why I share this book with you because I feel so strongly about the message, it’s truly beautiful. The book will hit shelves October 5th – grab a copy, you won’t be sorry. Retail: $16.95

Infanttech Smarttemp – I just heard of this little gadget the last time I ran to Walgreens and I was totally smitten. It’s brilliant, on so many levels. For one, good luck trying to get a temperature on a baby or toddler that does not want to have their temperature taken. This little guy just sticks onto their side to monitor them and you only have to do it once! After that, you can see their temp on your smartphone (hence, brilliant.) It does it’s wireless monitoring through a safe low-energy bluetooth connection. Plus, get this, it even sends you alerts both if their temp gets too high or if they are due for another dose of medicine. Retail: $69.00
…………….
EverEarth Jr. Size Ramp Race – I found this little ramp at a thrift store believe it or not, and I can’t believe how much my daughter loves it. I wasn’t sure how well she would do with it right away, but she caught on super quick and she loves watching it go! Plus it’s great for their hand eye coordination along with fine motor skills. I’d say this one is a thrift win for sure! Just be sure not to lose the cars because they are spendy to replace! Retail: $20.98
…………….
Go Cubes – Have you ever wanted the caffeine punch of coffee, but couldn’t gulp down as much go-go juice as you needed? Okay, so I heard about these ‘chewable coffee‘ cubes and told them I had to try them. I love the thought of being able to pop in a chewable (basically gummy bear for adults) cube of coffee and being ready to run the world. Well whew, let me tell you, these things are strong! I would recommend them if you don’t mind the very strong taste of coffee. They were a bit on the strong side for me, but I know people who LOVE that taste so you never know! Plus, when you purchase, you get a big box of them which will last you a while. Each pack has four cubes, which is equivalent to 2 cups of coffee (200 mg caffeine)! Peace out afternoon crash! (Thanks for the samples, Nootrobox!) Retail: $35.10
