It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And if you’re anything like me, you’ve been shopping holiday sale after holiday sale to try and find the perfect gifts for the best prices. When it comes to finding holiday gifts for the people on my list, I usually get overwhelmed by all the options. I want to find them something personal but practical, something thoughtful but not break-the-bank. So where do you start?
Thankfully years ago, I came across a fellow blogger’s holiday gift guide and it helped give me a ton of ideas all in one spot. It inspired me to make my own gift guide every year to help others the same way she helped me. By providing new and unique gift ideas for everyone that might be on your gift list this year.
So without any further waiting, here are some fun gift ideas I came up with for those tough ones this year!
Dribble Up : I came across these as I was scrolling Instagram one day and had to check them out. My nephew is an avid athlete, who is always working on his skills. These smart gifts (soccer ball, basketball, medicine ball and even boxing gloves) are so amazing. They use technology to help you hone your skills at home. They even offer live classes as well so you can work alongside likeminded athletes!
Geomag Mechanics : These little kits are so dang cool! They’re great for kids who love to engineer and especially those who love STEM activities. Made with recycled plastic, this circuit allows kids to build their own track that combines gravity, magnetic motion and mechanical construction. My 6 year old loved putting the track together (with a little assistance from my husband), and they’re still playing with it weeks later! You can shop their lineup here.
Woombie Swaddle and Swaddle Sock : I couldn’t get over how stinking cute these little swaddles are but not only that, they’re complete lifesavers if you have a new baby in your life. The Swaddle Sock (pictured above in gray/white stripes) is the perfect solution for self-soothing and snuggling them in tight and cozy. The Original Woombie (shown above in watercolor roses) is the more classic swaddle you may have seen lately. However it’s safer and more effective than traditional swaddles that wrap around the baby, plus it stays put! These range from around $19.99 and up.
Swagtron K7 Convertible Bicycle Balance Bike : This little bike is great for so many different reasons. For starters, it’s three different bikes in one; it’s a balance bike, a trike and a bike. It’s great for traveling (it can fold up smaller than a regular trike or bike) and it gives kiddos the option to adapt as they learn how to ride. It’s been really neat to see her learn as she goes! Magicube Magnetic Building Blocks : These fun little blocks are great for little hands that want to build! Your child can use them to build animals, stack blocks, and learn all about magnetic fields while they’re at it. You can purchase the kits in piece quantities ranging from 6, 9, 13 or 32. Shop the full line here, starting at $16.99!
Magic Mixies Magical Misting Cauldron : These are the hit items this Christmas, if you haven’t seen them on your children’s list this year, you may catch them on the local shelves if you’re lucky! Keep your eyes peeled, and these are sure to be a hit.
Find them on Amazon here, prices are going to vary because they’re in such high demand!
GeoMag Supercolor Kit : My kiddos absolutely loved playing with these Supercolor panels from GeoMag. The STEM toys they have available are amazing, and they’re perfect for all age ranges. These ones are probably best for ages 5 and up as it has small magnetic balls that are a lot of fun but not suited for babies or toddlers. Beyond that, my kindergartener had a blast building and designing with these sticks, panels and magnetic balls. You can find these at Target, starting at $39.99!
Honey Bee Acres : These adorable little figurines are the perfect gift for little hands and big hearts. Each little animal family comes in a little beehive shaped hexagon complete with four family members. You can purchase additional accessories to create a whole little village! Find them at Walmart starting at $9.94!
Yarn Bowl for Knitting or Crocheting : If you have a yarn hobbyist in your life who enjoys knitting or crocheting, these yarn bowls are perfect for keeping the yarn from getting tangled or rolling away on them. Find these on Amazon for around $25-30!
Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones : These gorgeous headphones are one of my favorite things ever. I bring them along in my gym bag to workout, take them on runs, and even wear them around the house. They are super comfortable and they stay on extremely well which was surprising to me! They also hold a great charge. Find this pair for $299!
CHI Lava Flat Iron – I absolutely love this flat iron – appropriately named the CHI Lava. It has 1″ ceramic plates infused with volcanic lava for gentle yet consistent heat. This means that you can style your hair at a lower heat for less damage, but the same great results. I love the size, and how fast it heats up! While I was once using my old straightener at about 400 degrees, I’m now using the CHI Lava at 350 and seeing much nicer results. Starting at $96.99!
Adidas Cloudfoam Sneakers : If the woman in your life loves being active, running, lifting, or just fitness in general then she will adore these shoes. I purchased these a couple months ago and they have quickly become my favorite pair of tennis shoes. They are great for working out or just wearing out and about. I may have to invest in a couple more pairs in different colors!
Find them on Amazon here, starting at $52.99!
KUIU Insulated Snap Shirt : This one is one of my husband’s all-time favorite jackets. The KUIU Base Camp Insulated Snap Shirt can be worn as a mid-layer shirt or a lightweight jacket. It is lightly insulated and water resistant which makes it an awesome layer for him for hunting, fishing, or just being outdoors. He’s already thinking about what color he wants to get next.

Aqua-Vu micro Revolution 5.0 – This was the top item on my husband’s list this year. He had been eyeing it up for a while as a more efficient way to find the right fishing spot. “It allows you to go hole to hole and see what kind of structure is at the bottom.” (That’s what I’m quoting him saying, as I had some research to do in the matter – obviously!) He was so excited to give it a try that we had to make a special trip out to the nearest lake so that he could test it out. His favorite part is that the display is handheld and easy to carry around, or just to get a good close look at. His holiday season was made with this one! ($349.99)

Merry Christmas to you and yours!
