We’re down to a matter of weeks before Mother’s Day arrives, and it’s easy to procrastinate and put off getting a Mother’s Day gift because you just don’t know what to get. Trust me, I’ve been there. It’s tough to find a gift for mom that conveys how special she is to you. I did a little digging and wanted to share a few options I found for gifts for mom under $30. So not only are they affordable, but they’re good! I hope you like them!
Self-Care
The best thing moms can usually do for themselves is taking care of themselves. This includes everything from getting pampered, to relaxing or just taking some time to do something they love. So it’s no mystery that one of the best gifts for mom is to give her a chance to have some self-care. Here are some ideas to consider:
- Massages or Acupuncture (Groupon has some great local deals!)
- Manicure or Pedicure
- Facial
- Meditation or Yoga Class Pass
- Energy Healing Session
- A coupon book for taking undisturbed (kid-free) quiet naps
Pampering Gifts
Beyond going and having self-care services done, you can also give the gift of being able to pamper themselves at home. Some of these gifts for mom might include:
7. High-end mud mask (I love GlamGlow, this stuff is amazing.)
8. Essential Oil bath bombs (they disintegrate in the tub making it smell and look amazing)
9. Spa gift basket (DIY or you can find them online)
10. Favorite coffee shop gift card and/or mug
11. Essential oils and/or a diffuser (here is a great set for only $29)
Sentimental Gifts
If you want something that mom is going to hold onto for a while, you might consider browsing for a sentimental gift. I found some really cute ones on Amazon, and the plus side is that these are super affordable gifts, even though they look custom-made.
12. I Love Mom, Special Cutting Board – made especially for Mother’s Day and only $25.
13. Funny Mug – I thought this one on Amazon was pretty adorable.
14. Mom & Daughter Linked Necklace – I personally would love one of these cute pieces (hint hint hubby) and only $10 with Prime.
15. Best Mom Ever cutesy mug – this is one Instagram-worthy coffee cup.
Tech Gifts
Let’s get it out of the way that moms are not typically known for their tech-savviness (womp womp) but that’s okay. There are still plenty of options when it comes to tech gifts that moms will love. And since I’m a mom, I can totally vouch for these ideas because they are ones that I would enjoy!
16. Wireless ear buds – they’re great for working out, gardening, or cleaning the house.
17. New cell phone cover – let’s be honest, you know hers is cracked and old.
18. Bluetooth speaker
19. Portable charger – because her phone is always dead, am I right?
20. Tile or Orbit – these handy clips track things commonly lost like keys, purses, or minds. Okay maybe not lost minds but everything else probably.
That’s 20 great gift ideas for mom on Mother’s Day this year (or her birthday, I suppose they would work for any occasion really!) I hope these ideas helped give you some ideas or spark some creativity in the hunt for the perfect gift. And if all else fails, a big hug is a great gift no matter the time or occasion 🙂
Hearts,
Sarah
Jenn
I second the hug! Though a massage is good, too 😉
