Last night as I was getting ready for bed, it dawned on me that I’d essentially been using the same face wash since I was in high school. To not completely tell how old I am, let’s just say that’s a long time. Anyways, would it hurt to try something new? Definitely not. I’m always up for trying new things!
Well as you guys know, I’ve been able to test out all of Olay’s newest products lately, and one of those was the Olay Cleansing Infusion Hydrating Glow Facial Cleanser with Deep Sea Kelp & Aloe Extract. It’s a beautiful bottle that is just as yummy-smelling as you would expect. I really liked how it made my face feel afterwards, I used it in the shower and usually when I wash my face in the shower it kind of feels dry and almost kind of sticky afterwards. This one made my face feel like I had almost used like a deep conditioner on my face, it felt smooth and moisturized. It was a nice change of pace.
These new Olay cleansers are made with bio renewing hydrators to help your skin’s condition as you wash it, to reveal your natural glow. They also have a Crushed Ginger body wash and facial cleanser that contain exfoliators for some serious micropolishing (essentially smoother, healthier looking skin).
Like I kind of mentioned before, the cleansers made my skin feel like I was moisturizing it, not stripping it of its moisture. And it’s actually clinically proven to give your skin more radiance in just one use. My husband said he had run out of his body wash, so he had used mine in a pinch, lol I said, “I thought you had a glow to you!”
Honestly what I also really enjoyed was the smell though! I had taken a shower, left the bathroom to get dressed, then when I came back in I could still smell the Deep Sea Kelp & Aloe Extract. It *almost* smells kind of tropical but in a more natural, earthy kind of way. I’m not sure how to explain it, haha that is not my forte!
The Tilt Test
Olay always has a fun spin on their products and for these Olay Cleansing Infusions, they challenged us to try the “tilt test”. It’s the true test to prove that with just a tiny tilt of the head or body, you can catch the sunlight just right to reveal a beautiful natural glow. So, fresh out of the shower (wet hair and all) I gave it a try. See that nice little glow on my nose and forehead? I think I passed the #TiltTest!
If you’re currently using these new cleansers, share your tilt test photos on Instagram or Twitter and be sure to use the hashtag #TiltTest 🙂 You’ll see mine on there as well.
If you’re not using these cleansers yet, you can find them at an Ulta near you or find more information here!
Til next time!
Sarah
