I received these beauty samples complimentary for review. All opinions are mine!
How pretty is the February Glossybox? I absolutely loved the packaging, it was almost too lovely to open! (Almost…) It’s always exciting when my Glossybox arrives on my doorstep, I get so giddy and excited, it’s almost kind of ridiculous.
So as I love to do every month, or I guess every couple months, is share a little spoiler with you guys about what came in each month’s Glossybox. If you’re not familiar with it, Glossybox is a monthly subscription box packed with high-end, luxury beauty samples. And not little samples, good-sized samples that actually give you a chance to get a feel for how they work! Not just a tiny little package of half of a use.
Let’s take a look at what came in these last two month’s boxes!
February 2016 Glossybox
1. Teeez Cosmetics Oasis Gem Lipstick – This skinny little lip color packs a big hue, the color that I got was ‘Heat Wave Ruby’ which was like a deep but subtle maroon. I don’t typically like darker lipsticks on myself, but this one wasn’t too drastic so I didn’t really mind it! It is a nice color for the fall or winter. The lipstick line prides themselves in muted color palettes that are great for winter wardrobes. (Retail: $22.00)
2. GlamGlow Thirstycleanse Daily Hydrating Cleanser – Yup, I’m obsessed with GlamGlow because their products are simply amazing. They work so well, and use the power of mud to improve your skin (whaaat?! I know, right?) This moisturizing cleanser uses pure green coconut water to produce a foaming lather to clean makeup and dirt from your skin. (Retail: $39.00)
3. Etre Belle Cosmetics Golden Skin Roll-on Caviar Eye Gel – This stick of eye gel uses a steel ball on the tip to rejuvenate your under-eye area. I have very sensitive skin, so for me this one didn’t work the greatest as it kind of left a burning sensation under my eyes (maybe it’s supposed to do that, I don’t know) but I like the thought behind it as it’s designed to firm skin and ‘resuscitate tired skin’. (Retail: $45.00)
4. BioRepublic Skincare Sheet Mask – I love getting face masks in my Glossyboxes because they’re perfect for doing a little at-home spa session at home in the bath. This mask is infused with natural extracts along with vitamin E to promote healthy, balanced skin. (Retail: $5.00)
5. Benefit Cosmetics The Porefessional Face Primer – Primers are wonderful for holding your makeup in place and helping it to last longer, and Benefit is a well-known brand in the cosmetic world so when you combine the two of them, you get this! This primer works awesome at ‘blurring’ your imperfections to help create a flawless look. (Retail: $31.00)
As always, I love to total up what it would typically cost to try out these products at full price. The February box total would have cost a total of $142.00!
Instead, it costs just $21 for a Monthly Subscription! They’re always running promotions as well, so you can usually score even more product for free as well 🙂 Right now, they’re offering a FREE Doucce lip gloss (a $24 value) with code GLOSSYLIP or a FREE Ardency monster eye powder ($32 value) with code EYEPOWDER.

March 2016 Spoiler
- Vine Vera Resveratrol Merlot Moisture Day Cream – I love testing out new day creams, because it’s really hard to find a good one. I want the moisture but don’t want the greasy feel. This day cream uses the power of resveratrol to help provide your skin with anti-aging properties and create a barrier on your skin to protect from exterior stressors. (Retail: $146.00)
- I Love… Cosmetics Super Soft Hand Lotion – Mmmm, I can tell spring is here by this amazing blend of mango and papaya all mixed up in one great, soft hand lotion. Plus, have you ever seen a cuter package for hand lotion? (Retail: $6.00)
- Luxie Beauty Rose Gold Large Angled Face Brush 504 – It is impossible to go out to a makeup store and find a great makeup brush. It’s hard to gauge how they’ll work, the feel in your hands, or really anything else. I was pumped to see a new angled face brush in this month’s box, it’s perfect for contouring and highlighting plus it has super soft bristles to leave a super smooth finish. (Retail: $16.00)
- Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick – Hoorah! Another amazing lipstick, and I will take anything from Too Faced, their stuff is amazing (but expensive!) So when this lipstick arrived (color: chihuahua) I was pretty excited. It is a powerful lip stain with a high shine all in one little container. It’s really lovely!! (Retail: $21.00)
- Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner – Liquid eyeliner is my favorite kind of eyeliner because it actually stays put! Well Eyeko is an awesome brand of eye products and this carbon black formula is perfect for that cat-eye wing with that skinny tip! (Retail: $20.00)
The total for this box’s contents would have cost me $209.00 to test out. The eye cream really sealed the deal on that one, but the fact that I got the Too Faced lipstick and Eyeko liner was definitely an added bonus. And like I said, you can get this box for just $21 for a Monthly Subscription!
The sooner you sign up, the sooner you’ll start getting to try out these amazing beauty products. Each month, I get a new favorite (luxury) makeup product for cheap. For February, it was the GlamGlow, and for March it was the Too Faced lipstick. Win!!
Til next month,
Sarah
