Hopefully I waited long enough to give you guys a peek at the August GLOSSYBOX. As you know, I wait to write about it so that I don’t spoil the surprise for anyone that month! If you haven’t read about Glossybox before, I’ll introduce it briefly for you. Glossybox is a monthly box subscription that sends you 5-6 deluxe sized beauty samples right to your mailbox.
What I love about these samples, is that they are nice big sizes! I can actually use them more than once and they last me a while! This also helps because then I can really get a feel on whether or not I like the product. It’s so nice!
Anyways, I don’t want to talk your guys’ ears off, so I will move on to the goodies! Here is what I found in this month’s beauty box!
Let’s start from the bottom left and go rainbow-style all the way over and end at the bottom right. Okay, ready??
1. Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush – Lip color is all the rage right now, and nothing is more fashionable than some bright, bold reds and pinks. This jelly lip blush went on just like it sounds, like jelly. It smoothed right on and left the most vibrant color on my lips! Plus, it stayed. That’s the biggest thing when it comes to lip color, you want it to last! (Retail: $18.00)
2. Anatomicals Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz – This facial spray concept was new to me, but I really do like it. It has been perfect to use for the summer when you’re just kind of warm and feel like your face needs a little refresher. The soothing mixture contains lavender and peppermint extracts, to assist in rehydrating and revitalizing your skin. (Retail: $9.00)
3. Sue Devitt Triple C-Weed Pressed Powder – This little compact is wonderful!! I couldn’t believe that I got a full sized compact in my box, but it was so nice and the product itself is awesome! It contains green tea and vitamin C and helps even skintone while providing a lightweight coverage (and helps to set your makeup too!) (Retail: $28.00)
4. Embelleze Novex – Brazilian Keratin Hair Care Treatment Cream – Finally, something to save my hair from the damage I have done to it this summer. This deep conditioner is heaven-sent, and anything with the word ‘keratin’ in it is fine by me! This conditioner helps replenish hair protein and with that, increase smoothness and shine. (Retail: $4.99)
5. Pandora’s Makeup Box Nail Polish – White nail polish is the trend right now. Sometimes you just don’t have time to do the fancy designs or get a manicure, so you need to apply a simple coat and roll with it. Plus, when you don’t want something real extreme or bold, white is the way to go. This nail polish was nice and subtle! (Retail: $9.50)
BONUS: Guess + Glossybox Denim Makeup Bag – See that adorable light-colored denim bag in the back of my box? That was a nice little bonus from Glossybox this month! It is SOOO cute and useful. I used it to pile in my new samples and bring them to the cabin to try them out. What an awesome idea they had!
Get Your Own Glossybox
I love getting my beauty samples every month. They come right to my mailbox and it’s like giving a birthday gift to myself each month! So how can you do the same? It’s easy. Here’s the details… You can subscribe to Glossybox at $21 for a Monthly Subscription or, there are longer plans:
- $60 for three months

I personally love it! But don’t take my word for it, try it out yourself!
Until next month 🙂
Hearts,
Sarah
