I received this box complimentary for review. All opinions are 100% my own.
This month’s (April 2015) Glossybox was possibly the cutest box yet! It featured this glam girl with her gorgeous little Glossybox beauty items… When you opened up the box, the same design was featured on the product card and beneath that, was an adorable Glossybox makeup bag. I don’t know about you, but I can never have too many makeup bags!
Now if you’re not familiar with GLOSSYBOX, basically it’s a monthly beauty box subscription service that delivers five luxury samples to your door every month! And they’re not the teeny tiny samples either, they’re nice and deluxe sized so you actually get a feel for the products.
This month, we had some really great samples and I was so excited to try them out that I think I used them all on the very first day that my box came! I’m kind of a dork like that. Anyways, let’s take a peek into the April Glossybox… spoiler alert! Hopefully you’ve gotten yours in the mail by now though π
Oh and as an added bonus (and Glossybox does this frequently!) they threw in a mystery gift card to Thursday Friday – a website that sells trendy handbags. Always a fun surprise!!
(From top, then left to right)
Julep Gel Eye Glider – This high-end eye liner has been proven to last for more than 10 hours! I couldn’t believe that when I read it, as my eyeliner that I use now currently lasts about one hour… This Julep liner has a waterproof formula that sets in 30 seconds and won’t budge! (Retail: $16.00 / .04 oz)
Marrakesh Endz Argan & Hemp Oil Therapy – This awesome split end mender and preventer is perfect on my ‘coming out of a Minnesota winter’ hair. It also helps with frizz control and to tame those wild hairs – which is so key for my hair right now! (Retail: $5.99 / 1 oz)
Aerin Waterlily Sun Perfume – This yummy fragrance is my current go-to now. It has a nice, floraly scent which is usually what I go for anyways π It is said to combine a mixture of scents including waterlily, jasmine sambac and warm musk. (Retail: $110.00 / 1.7 oz)
Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum – Okay, not only does this stuff smell amazing but the fact that it also helps to reduce the look of uneven skintone is the kicker for me. I need all the help I can get with getting rid of dark spots! (Retail: $62.00 / 1 oz)
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar Stained Gloss – Ah, a great gloss that is bold and bright for this spring! This lip product is vegan, gluten-free and includes key ingredients to help leave your lips feeling shiny and beautiful. (Retail: $18.00 / .33 fl oz)
As always, I love to add up the overall retail value (it’s a rough estimate obviously, based on size differences) of the items I get in my monthly Glossybox. This month, if I were to add up the retail value of all these products, I’d spend around $212.00 to try out these awesome beauty products! That counts as a great success in my book, because Glossybox is only $21 for a Monthly Subscription!
