I know what you are thinking… the Wubb-a-whaaaat? You heard right, I’m going to do a review of a fantastic baby product that I absolutely love.
Before I get to the review, I will give you my Wubbanub journey. I found out about the Wubbanub when I was searching BabyCenter (my go-to baby site/forum). I was looking for a solution to my Little spitting out her pacifier all the time, then crying because it wasn’t in her mouth anymore. As you can imagine, this can get really obnoxious (sorry, Baby Girl). Especially in the car when mama is trying to drive and find the pacifier that Little spit out in a fit of rage. I don’t suggest trying this, but moms know, sometimes you do what you have to. Enter THE most adorable pacifier anyone could ever imagine! The Wubbanub!!
Cost: Retail is between $14.99-$19.99. Of course you can find it less expensive! See below… This may seem like a lot for a pacifier, and if you have dogs that like to eat all things baby like I do, it gets a little pricey. BUT I would say you have to try it before judging the price. My guess is, you will find it totally worth the dough.
Cuteness Factor: I don’t know that there could be a cuter baby accessory! I mean look, even the celebrities get it for their very stylish babies (cue Jennifer Garner)!
My favorite, which happened to be the first one I got for my little, and the first one my dogs ate, is Ella the Elephant – So cute!
Pros: Of course, they are just too cute to stand. But they also serve their purpose very well. My Little loves to hold onto her Wubbanub and snuggle with it. She got her first Wubbanub around 10 weeks old, and the older she gets, the more she loves it. I also love it! Having the animal attached makes it so much easier to find in her car seat while I’m driving (I know. Not safe.) and around the house. It also makes it easier to hold onto when trying to hold her, while rocking her to sleep.
Cons: When Little is upset and thrashing her head around, inevitably the Wubbanub pops out. The animal stays put while she turns her head, so it can be hard to keep it in her mouth. The animal also gives her something to hold onto, making it easier for her to yank out of her mouth – on purpose or not.
Where to Find: These are now carried at a lot of local stores including Babies R Us, Toys R Us and even Target has them now! If you’re in a pinch and can’t make it to the store, you can also order them on Amazon Prime here.
You’re welcome in advance, these things are a sanity saver for moms everywhere! 🙂
