• Has the car ever been in an accident?
• Can I see the CarFax on this vehicle?

Vehicle Condition

• Did your mechanic inspect the car before it was put on the lot?
• Is this vehicle certified pre-owned?
• Can my personal mechanic look at it before I purchase?
• Does everything work correctly?

Other Things to Know

• Is there anything left on the factory warranty?
• Does the car have a clear title?
• What kind of safety rating does this vehicle have?

Before you go to the seller, sit down and think about your personal preferences in a vehicle. You’ll want to ask them about those details and make sure you are getting what you want when it comes to a new car. You’ll have the vehicle for a while, so make sure you are doing your research in the process.
