After purchasing a new Jeep Grand Cherokee back in the spring, I had a lot to learn with the brand new vehicle. My previous vehicle, an ’06 Chevy Equinox, didn’t have too much as far as accessories go. So I had to learn the in’s and out’s of all the new technology plus the services that came with it including Mopar and Jeep Wave. After talking with some friends at this Oregon Jeep dealer and learning about how nice these services were, I wanted to share so that those who have the service are utilizing all that it has to offer.
Jeep Wave
First, I wanted to add a little note about the Jeep Wave program because it’s been pretty nice to have as well. I just registered my Jeep on their website and now I’m able to sign in and schedule service, see what I have left for complimentary services and just kind of check on the status of my truck (including maintenance records, recalls, current mileage, vehicle health report and loads more.
It’s really a helpful platform to have, just to be able to check on things and see if everything is looking good with my vehicle.
Mopar
Now onto the main topic, Mopar. Technically speaking, Mopar was named after “motor parts” but beyond that it also focuses on service and your overall driving experience. Mopar Vehicle Protection plans vary on what they cover, but basically you can choose from two different plans; Maximum Care and Added Care Plus. These plans are meant for after your factory warranty expires, and generally the difference between the two is whether you are covering about 800+ components or 5,000+ components. Beyond that, in the plans you’ll find you’ll receive a car rental allowance, $100 towing allowance plus roadside assistance, key fob repair or replacement, and loads more.
To find out more about the Mopar program, you can visit their FAQ’s section here. They have a lot of useful information on their website that helps to explain all the benefits of their program.
Of course, if you have any questions about the usability of the program or what’s inside, feel free to ask! I can share my experience and insider perspective of the program anytime!
Happy driving!
