Ringwood, NJ – To see some beautiful colors around the waterfront, Ringwood State Park offers two beautiful lakes with colorful foliage. Here you’ll find both Norvin Green Forest and Shepherd Lake, along with some fun hiking trails and picnic spots. It’s the perfect area for a nice fall getaway.
Titusville, NJ – If you want a trip that has a little history to it, you’ll appreciate the Washington Crossing State Park, in Titusville. This location went down in history as the scene of Washington’s crossing of the Delaware River, back in 1776. Now you’ll find hiking, bird watching and a plethora of preserved historical presence.
Chatsworth, NJ – For a fun fall activity, you’ll love the Chatsworth Cranberry Festival that is held once a year in Southern New Jersey. It is the 3rd largest Cranberry harvest in the US, and admission is free! Go check out this fun event and see how the harvest is done.
