Ya’ll, I am beyond excited to say—Chloe and the Quest for Courage is officially out in the world! This book has been a labor of love, and I couldn’t be more excited (and honestly, a little emotional) to share it with you. While I love to play with words, my daughter is a phenomenal mini-artist and she illustrated the whole book for me! (I know, right?)
Now if you’ve been following along on my social media channels, you know how much I love inspiring kids to be active, brave, and full of adventure. Chloe and the Quest for Courage is a heartwarming story about a little girl who faces her fears, discovers her inner strength, and learns that courage isn’t about never being afraid—it’s about moving forward even when you are.

Chloe and the Quest for Courage; written by yours truly, illustrated by my daughter, Adley (age 9)!
Inspired by my youngest daughter, who had a very hard time going to school this past Fall, we came up with a way to embrace courage for her; both with words and art. It was such a fun collaboration with my girls!
This book is for every kid (and honestly, every grown-up too!) who’s ever doubted themselves but found a way to keep going. Whether you’re reading it with your little one at bedtime, gifting it to a young reader, or adding it to your own collection (because let’s be real, illustrated books are for everyone), I hope it brings you as much joy as it brought me while writing it.
I’d LOVE for you to check it out, and if you do, let me know what you think! Plus, if you’re local, keep an eye out for upcoming book signings—I can’t wait to meet you in person, chat all things books, and maybe even sign a copy with a little note of encouragement. 💛
You can grab your copy at CarlsonCoPress.com, and if you love it, leaving a review would mean the world to us!
Thank you all for being part of this journey with me. Your support, encouragement, and love for books keep me going, and I’m so grateful!
Hearts,
Sarah
