This post is part of a sponsored automotive series. All opinions are mine.
When I purchased my car recently, I got to wondering how I could make it feel like more of my own. It seemed so mainstream as it was, sure it was beautiful (I love my Jeep) but how would I be able to pick it out from a crowd? I started brainstorming and received some great advice from a Pennsylvania Jeep dealer that helped me solve my problem.
How to Personalize Your Vehicle
- Add a decal that speaks to your passion. On my previous vehicle, I had a pink Browning doe sticker on the back. I felt like this spoke to my hunting hobby and obviously I loved the pink on it. Beyond that, I also had my alma mater sticker from the University of St. Thomas. I felt like both of these things had a good definition of me as a person when I first purchased my vehicle.
- Get a vanity license place. If you really want to stand out when friends see your car, they’ll know it’s you when they see the custom license place. Get creative, make it unique and let it speak for you!
- Find some seat covers. If you really want your vehicle to stand out from the inside out, then you might consider finding some seat covers that you like. They could be patterned, camouflage, a certain color or whatever floats your boat!
- Upgrade your emblem. Did you know you can find blinged out manufacturer emblems for your vehicle? They’re cute and different. You can find them in all kinds of different colors and designed to pick one that suits you.
- Use a license plate frame. These are a great way to personalize your vehicle without having anything too permanent on it. You can find license plate frames that support all kinds of different causes, hobbies, places, etc.
- Sparkle your tires. Did you know there is a special paint you can use to paint your tires to make them sparkle? It’s true, and it’s actually pretty cool.
- Customized tire cover. If you have a vehicle that carries a spare tire on the back (something like a Jeep Wrangler, Toyota RAV4, Land Rover Discovery, etc.) then you can find a personalized tire cover to spruce up your ride a bit. You can usually find these online or at your auto parts store.
