You guys know how much I love to try out new beauty samples, right? Well when I found GLOSSYBOX, I was absolutely elated. They give you the opportunity to try out deluxe beauty samples every month and they ship them right to your door. You gotta love that!
What I like most about Glossybox is that each box contains five or six deluxe-sized samples and they feature prestigious brands like Tarte, Burberry, Estee Lauder, OPI and lots more.
So for the price that you’d normally pay for maybe one high-end beauty product, you get to sample 5-6 good-sized products instead.
It was definitely my lucky day! I got to try out the May box to see what this whole Glossybox stuff was all about. The excitement started as soon as I went to the mailbox and discovered this wonderful package waiting for me!
It was like an early birthday present that you’d get every month! The best part though… well, let me just show you…
Gah! I was in love… An absolutely gorgeous, solid box packed with goodies. All these awesome samples to try out, I couldn’t wait! Here’s a little breakdown of everything you see above (from front left to right, back left to right):
1. My Prime (Multi-Purpose Mattifying Moisturizer) – A super lightweight moisturizer that also has anti-aging benefits along with a nice matte finish. Bonus, it also triples as a primer! (Full size: $68)
2. European Wax Center (The Exfoliate, Slow It Body Wash, Slow It Body Lotion) – These products are aimed at helping your skin look it’s best. Whether it’s to exfoliate, repair or decrease hair density, you’re sure to enjoy these ones. (Full size: $20-38)
3. Nicka K New York (Absolute! Perfume Stick) – This solid stick of perfume is awesome for tossing into your purse or bag for a night out on the town. It slides on easy and smells so good! (Full size: $14.99)
4. etre belle (Collagen & Aloe Vera Hydro Mask) – A moisturizing face mask that gives your skin an extreme boost. Not only that, but it increases elasticity as well. (Full size: $39.50 for 10 masks)
5. Amorepacific (Color Control Cushion Compact) – This neat little compact is a great little makeup essential. It’s a compact that offers hydration, SPF protection, and coverage all at the same time. Plus it even smells good! (Full size: $60.00)
6. Sebastian Professional (Volupt Spray) – This spray gel is aimed to add volume and softness to your luscious locks. Use heat (blow-dryer) for extra body, or let your hair air-dry for soft waves/curls. (Full size: $19.95)
BONUS: As an added bonus, I even got a card for a free eyebrow wax at the European Wax Center closest to me. I think all this would add up to well over what you would pay for a monthly box!
How much does a Glossybox Cost?
I left this question for the end because what would you expect to pay for all this good stuff? Well a subscription to Glossybox will cost less than you would think! And the shipping is included in the price…
Packages range from:
- $21 for a Monthly Subscription
- $60 for 3-Month Subscription
- $115 for 6-Month Subscription
- $220 for 12-Month Subscription
