    Thanks I am going to look for some material to do this as well my lab who stands up to his name of Chewy. He is constantly chewing my daughter’s stuff animals, socks, paper you name he probably has chewed on it. I get him the chewable ropes and they last for awhile but he prefers socks.

    Another tip for you, since you said he is teething, soak your homemade toy in water, ring out most the water (not all) and put into the freezer for a couple hours. Pull it out and you will have a very happy puppy. I got through teething with my Dorkie that way. As for a toy he can NOT destroy, I have not found one yet that my Dorkie can’t destroy. I make homemade toys out of fleece remnants. Cut a long strip and knot it up, you got a tug rope. Or then small skinny stripes cut longer and then keep knotting together to make a ball. My dogs love watching me make them them and get excited when it is almost done. Yes they chew it apart piece by piece, So I just reknot loose ends and add more.
