Another Day in the Minnesota Wife Life

This week is the first week of my ‘unemployment’ and it’s been so weird. I think I have pretty much had a job since I was 15 so it’s a definite change of pace. But in other news, I’ve been able to focus on the blog more and update some things. I also added a new video of my favorite beauty items that I am loving right now. You can see that here:

In a nutshell, I tried and loved the Beauty Blender, Unite 7Seconds, Moroccan Oil, and Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes Mascara. Love them all 🙂

Other Things I’m Loving

Of course, my life is more than just beauty products. Some other things that I’ve been loving include some of the following:

• Modern Family – This is one hilarious TV show that we cannot get enough of. We’ve set our DVR to record every episode so we don’t miss any! It’s a great show that both of us love, it’s light-hearted and witty which is a must in our house.
• Ebates – I’ve used this site with my Christmas shopping and it’s awesome. You get a percentage back on all your online purchases, all you have to do is start at Ebates.com and then select the store where you’re going to shop. It will take you to the site and that’s it! They track how much you spend there, and then you get the given percentage back (it varies depending on stores). But really, you’re not losing anything to do this, it’s free! • Applebee’s Tom Collins – Okay this one is for those over you who are 21 and older. I’m obsessed with the Tom Collins drink at Applebee’s. And for whatever reason, they just are not the same anywhere else. Trust me, I’ve tried. If you go into Applebee’s and order one, feel free to come back here and leave a comment with how much you loved it 😉
• Fleece Lined Tights – Yes, these are absolutely amazing right now because as I type this, it is -10°F outside! These tights have a super-soft, super-warm lining on the inside that is so nice. I wear them not only with dresses, but underneath my pants when it’s really cold out. It really does help! (New to you? Check out my review of Kushyfoot fleece-lined tights here!)
• Pet Nail Polish – Santa left this awesome Pet Head nail polish in Luna’s stocking this year and I think she is loving it too. It’s just so cute on her! I did some research and this nail polish is toulene and formaldehyde free. It’s also made in the USA for those of you who are curious. And one last thing, it dries in 10 seconds – which is key when you’re dealing with a puppy!
