19 Weeks and Counting

19 weeks pregnant

This morning I woke up and thought, is it June yet?! Oh my goodness, what a change these last couple weeks have presented… Where to begin?

Let’s start with the sickness because of as last time I posted, that was still going decently strong. As of late, it’s been getting better for the most part and the only painful part right now is the cramps of a growing belly!

Having problems viewing the video? See it here as well!

I’ve also started feeling little movements lately and that is such a cool feeling! I’ve tried to have hubby feel, but it doesn’t seem that they’re strong enough to feel from the outside yet. Hopefully soon, I know he will be so excited!

Next week we go in for our 20 week appointment and find out the gender of our little tater tot! I feel like this will be a huge step because then I can finally start shopping! 🙂 Oh and thinking of names and such too…

19 weeks baby bump

As I was getting dressed for church this Sunday, I looked in the mirror and was surprised to finally see a little bump looking back at me! This was probably the first time that I thought, ‘wow, I look pregnant!’ Which was exciting and a little depressing at the same time… lol! But I think it’s a good sign that things are growing how they should be!

Another reason I’m ready for June to be here is because of how emotional hormones make you. All of a sudden I’m crying when I hear a song on the radio in the car, or sobbing when watching a sad TV commercial… It always catches me off guard and then usually a box of tissues later, I finally manage to calm myself down. Is it June yet? 🙂

We’re also in the midst of planning a gender reveal party for next week after we find out the gender. I don’t want to do what everyone else does (cake or balloons) so I’m trying to come up with something a little more unique and memorable. However, at the present moment, I don’t really have any better ideas! The only thing I’ve been thinking is maybe doing colored silly string and having everyone covered spray their can at the same time. But hubby thinks this will be much too messy to do indoors and since it’ll likely be about 10°F outside, we will be doing this grand event indoors!

Well those are all the updates that I have as of right now! Things are slowly progressing and moving right along. Each appointment is a great source of reassurance that things are still going well and baby is doing good! So that always puts me in an amazing mood.

Next you hear from me, you’ll probably be finding out the gender so make sure to come back soon 🙂

Until then,
Sarah
