Mia Mariu Cosmetics: Review & Giveaway!

I recently had the opportunity to review some amazing makeup courtesy of Mia Mariu, and let me tell you I am so excited to share it with you guys! I’ve been super busy over the last week so this is way overdue, but without further adou, let me introduce to you….

*drumroll please*

Mia Mariu!

Mia Mariu is a health and beauty company that promotes beauty inside and out. They offer great products like mineral cosmetics (which I’ll be sharing with you today,) natural health supplements and botanical skin care.

So when I picked out the items on their site to try out, I went with the basics, because those are what you use every day. So here’s what I chose to review:

• Intense Eye Liner (Black)
• Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara (Black)
• Mineral Powder Bronzer Playa Coral

The nice thing about this makeup is that it’s affordable. The total cost for these three products would be $40, which is a nice price for mineral makeup. But beyond price, they also had their own benefits as well.

First off, the intense eye liner pencil was nice! I usually use a thin brush and black eyeshadow as my eye liner, but when using this pencil I was impressed. Even for someone who doesn’t typically use eye liner pencils. It was very smooth and easy to use, and it had the perfect mix of not too dark, but not too light. After going over it a couple times, it looked great! And the nice part is, that it stayed put – no smudging. That’s a big plus for me.

You can say that I am a skeptic when it comes to mascara. I’ve been using the same brand since high school and I’ve never found anything that I’ve liked more. So before I first tried the Mia Mariu mascara, I had my doubts, but it actually worked wonderfully! I couldn’t believe how nicely it separated the lashes and there were ZERO clumps. That’s a rarity!! I absolutely loved that about this mascara. The only thing that I would’ve liked to see was a waterproof type but despite that, I really liked it!

Last but not least, the bronzer. I will quote the old-age saying that, “a little goes a long way.” That is definitely true with the bronzer here. Even just a little bit on my brush dusted my cheeks, forehead and chin. And it gave me a beautiful sun-kissed glow that looks really nice. Along with a little shimmer, of course. I didn’t know it until I was browsing their website, but the bronzer also contains Vitamins A, C and E. Love that!!

With these three essentials all by themselves, I could walk out the door and feel beautiful. It was that easy!
